HTML & CSS Using Inspect element to retrieve design

I copied and pasted all the codes from Google "Inspect" element on ATOM.

When i go to Web View, the layout is messed up and a lot of empty white spaces.

On Inspect element, it does show multiple errors.

9: Indicate whether to send a cookie in a cross-site request by specifying it’s SameSite attribute

1: Page layout may be unexpected due to Quirks mode. (the page doesn't seem to be in Quirks mode since the coding starts with<!doctype hyml>

Do they have to do with the mess up?
Some website's coding do retrieve the same design but most of them don't

why is it not copying and pasting exactly what i see on the website?
