JavaScript Why does javascript do not show the calculation on output?

Why if i write

console.log("hello")

the output is "hello"
but if i write

console.log(" 80 % 3" )

the output it isnt shown?
and how can i display the calculation of some math operations?

I think this should work:

let x = 80 % 3;
console.log(x);

You don't need the quotations in the console.log.

Quotations are used when you want to console.log a string. Mathematical equations are to be done without it.

console.log (80 % 3);
