If you're a hard worker, great work ethic and active. You really shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I don't think anybody's gonna treat this project like a full-time job.
I wanted to work on this more with you. So my goal here is to be transparent and show that we are trustworthy. This is why it's a little over the top but I am willing to work with you and the community on this. If you want to provide a suggestion I am all ears.

Sorry, that was a long time ago and I don't know everything anymore.
Anyway it's a hobby and you shouldn't set standards that you use in companies.

It’s all good. The purpose of this is that we still want coders to feel safe and want to maintain a nice professional community.

As CodeForum.org begins to grow, each Board may contain Posts that do not abide by the Policies as described in the Document provided.

With increased growth in the Userbase, that means more Staff coming on board. But this is the tricky part as you need to look into a Member and see whether they qualify or not for a Position. That includes looking at their Post history, asking if they've worked at other Forums and how much they've helped the CF Community. I generally cannot say that a lot of people here on CF do qualify for Staff-Positions but that's up to you to decide on whether those people do qualify. Make sure that you do have requirements for certain Staff-Positions. Not the same requirements for all Positions. Just because somebody qualifies for a Moderator-Position, does not mean that they qualify to be an Administrator unless they can prove that they do qualify for such as Position.

As I said, each Board may contain Posts that do not abide by the Policies. So far, you just get the special Spam-Crap Post every once in a while but as CF grows, this may come out of hand. You will start getting more Spam but soon, may start getting more foul, dangerous and disgusting things popping-up. Starting from people threatening each other to Scams to Malicious Links being shared and Malicious Scripts being uploaded and even going as far as to including illegal-content(Such as illegal kinds of Pornography or links to illegal Websites).

This is when your Staff will come in. But, I have read reports from The Verge which describes the disgusting content that Facebook Moderators deal with on a daily basis. This may happen to CF Staff and will cause them to quit, become distressed, disgusted or potentially have harmful thoughts as Content(Primarily foul Content[That includes Gore, Pornography and links to Torture-Clips]) can affect the human mind.

I know the examples I just provided may seem like an exaggeration but still, Content like what I just described can someday, end-up on the shores of CF and somebody will have to get it removed fast before anyone else catches it and it harms CF's reputation and the Community's thoughts on CF.

I 100% agree, and I'm currently looking for a moderator and possibly an administrator. We do not what anything like that to occur.

Good to know that you acknowledge the Staff part. At this stage, I wouldn't say that you'd need a new full-time Moderator or Administrator. But maybe look into getting a new full-time Moderator or possibly a new Administrator by the time CF reaches
between 300-400 Members.

But what about the Content part? What are you going to do when stuff like dangerous Scripts or illegal Content starts popping-up?

Ah, I've been wondering where @Ghost has been. I hope he's not ghosting off.

I'll see myself out.

Of course, I can't always manage things by myself, but I hope to get more hands soon. Even now so it can help increase Staff presence.

We'd follow this: https://codeforum.org/threads/working-as-a-community.250/post-1948, but a backup plan is in place :)

Well, feel free to hire Staff now. I mean, @Joshua Farrell was once a Moderator but I see that he has now lost his job so that gives you an extra space in the office to fill. Maybe you could fit an extra desk into that office too.

Well, I know that you will be following your proposed Policies but I just wanted to ask about this too. Say, doesn't things like Pornography and illegal Scripts/Content get the Authorities contacted? I swear that was in the Document before. I'd also love to hear of this back-up plan.

Hire @Daniel as a mod. lol
I would actually enjoy being a Moderator here. But, I would the nonetheless say I'm more of some sort of Advisor.

Idk he writes essays.

Yes, it gives us more room! But still looking for the best candidate! @Joshua Farrell moved on to his own adventures :)

You can view that within the document, that still needs work . But the back up plan is tedious and painful but approving each and everyone's post until proven to be trusted.

Ah, I was wondering what happened to Joshua. Well, best of luck to him then.

Well, if you need help with improving that Document too, I'm also willing to assist with that. I've currently got a lot of free-time on my hands right now since it's Christmas and I'm not doing a lot just now other than chilling and I'm looking to do something that will fill my timetable.

Wait. That's your back-up plan? Just to approve everyone's posts until they can be trusted to not post anything illegal or harmful? I'm sure that there is a better method for your back-up plan. As with the Moderation-Policy Document, I'm also willing to help you establish a better back-up plan that will involve work that will not affect the whole Community.

Are you saying I can’t create documents??

What were you expecting :D but I’d make it automated so after like 10 post you get transferred to a different user group.
@Malcolm. Explain yourself.
