@Malcolm It may be worth pointing out that GitHub isn't really "hosting". I would amend it to "Github Pages ~ Free static site hosting" and link it to GitHub Pages instead. Then I'd put GitHub and GitLab under version control where you have Git listed.
You could also add AWS S3 Buckets as a static site hosting option (with a free tier), Digital Ocean and AWS EC2 for more advanced dynamic server hosting. Then maybe some of the basic cPanel hosts that get advertised around.

The video editing software lacks attention here a bit. And I will recommend one alternative that hasn't been mentioned yet. I will recommend one software that I've been using for several years both on PC and MAC. There's even an online editor. Here's the link video editor mac . I hope someone will discover it and check it.

For you web designers and CSS specialists, I found a couple useful sites for picking colors and getting their Hex/RGB values for CSS content.
https://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_picker.asp - w3 schools has this color picker that allows you to pick a color, see the different shades of it and all the color values in both RGB and Hex value. You can easily adjust the color or shade to match what you are looking for and apply the Hex/RGB value directly into your CSS file.
https://colorhunt.co/ - similar to w3 schools in giving the Hex/RGB values, Color Hunt shows a palette of 4 colors (of your choosing or from another persons pick) that show the colors side by side. This allows for users to see clashing colors or complimentary colors before adding them to the website. I personally use Color Hunt when coming up with new theme colors, as it is easier to see the colors side by side in a palette than it is to constantly change the color codes in the CSS file and refresh the browser to see the affect.

I don't know how often this list is updated now, but I just want to throw in a few things to keep it updated.
The tool still seems to work on Windows and older version of Mac which still support 32-bit applications, but Linux support is dead(thanks to Adobe Air support being ended) and it won't be long until the Windows and Mac versions are dead too. Looking at the repo, the last update to the master-branch was back in 2020, so that says a lot about support for it.
I hope the list is updated with these changes - no point in referring people to unsupported software.
GitHub announced recently that they're going to be retiring the Atom editor in December later this year. I suggest removing it from this list since it won't be supported anymore and many of its useful features probably will not work anymore.
I've tried using BoscaCeoil several times this past year and I've found that it practically does not work. There is trouble connecting to the online version of the program; the offline version requires Adobe Air, but that is in the process of having support ended.

We won't change it because VSCode still does exist. But will add vscodium as an additional text editor.

It's still in the works, however with this change we would be able to create/modify pages directly from GitHub. And our eventual plan is to allow members and staff of Code Forum to make changes/create new pages - nobody would be able to publish the changes until someone from the staff team verifies it and creates a pull request.
We're still working on what exactly will be published, but so far things like Code of Conduct, Help Pages and Helpful tools and resources will all be added to this platform.
