What is everyone working on?

Nothing too fancy but I'm currently working on my portfolio site. I'm currently using WordPress and a pre-made theme because it's just easier. But it's important for me to use something that I've created myself so this is my next project. Using Bootstrap for the front-end. Once I'm done with that, I'll move onto creating a simple PHP blog for the site.
Same here, however I’m currently working on building it from scratch!

Nice ~! I really wanna start learning C++ soon but I took a little break so I am re-upping my knowledge of Javascript and trying to understand it a bit more.
I need your energy lol! I really need to push myself more.

I have currently compiled an overview of the services we offer to the public.
I don't like the content change yet, but currently I have no better idea for it.

Although I did learn some German in my school ASL many years ago, I have forgotten much of it. I'm curious about your services :) Can you share some with us (without appearing spammy or as an advertisement obviously) ?

------
Right now I am working on several things for work - still many CMS platforms built from scratch, blogging software I built, e-commerce solutions, etc.
On the side, my signature is still valid, but many of my fun projects are on hold due to work commitments. I have hardly any time at all these days, but I love it!

I have spent a lot of time planning a few ideas out such as finishing the rest of General Forum, and possibly then moving on to take on a few quick web softwares we can build and sell such as a more advanced version of the blog software I built (Wubur Repo Blog), a mini 4chan clone/Craigslist-style forum software (Admin manages the boards, sub-sections, etc with nice admin CP / GUI controls) to sell as a more modern and slick community platform (probably will sell white-label versions to other developers who can take the bare-bones software to easily integrate it in client projects without having to worry about major design overhauls or page changes), and a cool spin on a social app that I've been planning and wanting to build for a few years now.

Not code related, but I am going to be replacing the bolts on the diving board in the back yard because the board is not secured down in the back which could cause the diving board to break off... not very safe!

I do not know if this is possible, I think it goes hand in hand.

In general I offer services which are privacy friendly, or privacy friendly alternatives to other existing services.
For example, Mastodon as a really good, but unfortunately still too little used alternative to Twitter or Jitsi as an alternative to Zoom and the other untrustworthy video conferencing providers.

Nextcloud (people here know it for sure) Currently not publicly accessible but by invitation only, but will change as soon as I have a good plan how to handle the legal issues.

We also have our own Gitlab instance to coordinate all our programming.

Teamspeak is for me the much better voice software, especially because I can host it myself, with Discord Voice I have had only bad experiences so far.

Discord, this is the only service that is not hosted by us and cannot really be described as privacy friendly. Unfortunately, even as a project you have to make some compromises. But I take care that no data from our other services is sent to Discord.

Otherwise you can create polls, shorten links or share code/texts.

Of course I also have some services that are not public, such as monitoring our servers and services: https://github.com/phpservermon/phpservermon

I have both a forum and a blog. I do a little bit of html when adding on stuff to the forum, not much. The blog, I am just writing articles on it when I am able to.

I'm currently working on a new framework for Code Forum style(s) to run on.

I haven't worked on anything recently but I've been intending to do a new template when I was feeling better. I haven't felt well enough to do one yet. My old laptop broke down and I had to buy a new one. I wasn't able to recover any of my previous works from my old laptop. One reason I wanted to make a few after a while.

What do you think of Udemy and what's the course?

I'm currently doing some work around Code Forum!

I really like Udemy so far, my work paid for my courses though.

The C# course I didnt like was Mosh Hamedani's C# Intermediate course. Mosh just didnt seem very interested and the course was really dry. Right now I'm doing his Master ASP.NET MVC 5 course and its been a lot of fun.

I'm also starting a new personal website for myself because my current one is super incomplete and half assed.

Oh wow, good deal!

Udemy is just like every store, you have to shop around for the best course. Checking the reviews is the best way to go.

I'll check it out!
