JavaScript Why is my gltf-animations not playing? (Javascript & Three.js)

//gltf-object
const loader = new GLTFLoader();
loader.load('stegosaurs_SStenops.glb', (gltf) => {
gltf.scene.position.set(0, 40, 130);
gltf.scene.visible = true;
scene.add(gltf.scene);
// Animation;
let mixer = new AnimationMixer(gltf.scene);
mixer = new AnimationMixer(gltf.scene);
let action = mixer.clipAction(gltf.animations[0]);
action.play();
} );
let clock = new Clock();
// inside the render lopp ...
function update () {
mixer.update(clock.getDelta());
}

The objects displays but the animations never runs on the screen.

Please use proper code tags in your post to make code more readable.

Anyway, there is issue with the structure and the update function is not called with the render loop.
I have not tested this code, but it should work or be close to it.

JavaScript:
const loader = new GLTFLoader();

loader.load('stegosaurs_SStenops.glb', (gltf) => {
  gltf.scene.position.set(0, 40, 130);
  gltf.scene.visible = true;
  scene.add(gltf.scene);

  // animation here
  let mixer = new AnimationMixer(gltf.scene);
  let action = mixer.clipAction(gltf.animations[0]);
  action.play();

  // update
  function update() {
    mixer.update(clock.getDelta());
  }

  // update function to the render loop
  function renderLoop() {
    requestAnimationFrame(renderLoop);
    update();
    renderer.render(scene, camera);
  }

  // fire-up the render loop
  renderLoop();
});

let clock = new Clock();
